Description

You know when they promise you an original fantasy world and then throw in a bunch of elves and dwarfs and make the setting medieval and stuff..? Well, I'm going into a slightly different direction xD
Most of these things will be in the wiki once it is done, but I feel like explaining some things now :) Lona is currently the only continent fleshed out and it is heavily based on Greek and central European myths and legends. The whole world, however, has many more regions, too many for me to design alone.

Mu is the lost paradise, a world built up by our very thoughts and inspirations. In this world we placed, alongside other beings, imaginary copies of ourselves, and thus humanity thrives there as well. (more or less) I'm drawing the Inland swamps here, a small region inside of the continent of Lona that nobody really cares about. Not too far away from the great city of Dauruun, the swamps have much traffic going through them, and some even stay to take part in the Collegium of elemental arts, a facility hidden from the rest of the world.
The entrance exam is quite simple (but not easy). The aspiring student must travel the swamps to find Glowroots, a specific tree mimicking fungus, alone or in a group. They need to collect the sap and bring it back to the Collegium in order to pass. However, these "trees" grow only on isolated islands of sulfur and phosphorus and are not easy to find, moreover because of the ravenous beasts that can be found across the swamp. That's why anyone who's clever enough hires an amazon warrior to back them up, as they're strong, clever and mostly indigenous to the area. However, that does not prevent many deaths to happen, resulting in a rather small number of students enrolling.

I hope to make something of this one day.
